Shinsadong Tiger cause of death: How did the music producer die?

South Korean music producer and executive, Shinsadong Tiger, has died. The music producer was found lifeless in his studio on Friday, February 23, 2024. Shinsadong Tiger cause of death remain unknown as at the time of writing this article. He was 40.

Who was Shinsadong Tiger

Tiger was born as Lee Ho-yang, on June 3, 1983, in Pohang-si, South Korea. He was a renowned music producer and songwriter, with several hit songs to his credit. Also, several hit songs from artistes such like EXID, Apink, BtoB, and Momoland, are attributed to him.

 He began his career in 2001 at the age of 18. He struggled initially, working odd jobs to support his music dreams. However, his talent and perseverance eventually paid off, and he went on to become one of the most successful producers in K-pop.

Some of his most popular songs include Mr. Chu by EXID, No.1 by Apink, Ailee by Ailee, and Bboom Bboom by Momoland. These songs are all chart-topping records which helped push the career of their respective singers, forward.

On Friday, February 23, an acquaintance of the producer placed several calls to his phone. These calls however, went unanswered. The person then went to his studio where he discovered Tiger lifeless. He then drew authorities’ attention to the situation. Meanwhile, the producer’s cause of death is not known as investigations are still underway to reveal what led to the sudden demise of the 40-year-old producer.
