Set It Off: Rapper Offset announces first solo tour, here are the dates

Kiari Kendrell Cephus, popularly known by his stage name, Offset, is an American rapper, born on December 14, 1991, in Georgia, United States. He gained popularity as part of the hip hop group Migos, alongside Quavo and the late Takeoff.

On Tuesday, the entertainment community erupted in joy as the 32-year-old rapper announced his first-ever solo headlining tour in support of his latest studio album Set It Off.

The tour is set to kick off on March 10 at the Fillmore in Philadelphia and will wrap in his hometown of Atlanta on April 10.

The Set It Off tour will make its way through major cities such as New York City, Boston, Toronto, Detroit, Chicago, Denver, Phoenix, Los Angeles, Dallas, and Houston, before finally wrapping up in Offset’s hometown of Atlanta.

While the lineup of possible opening acts hasn’t been revealed yet, Offset expressed his excitement for the tour, describing it as more than just concerts, but  a journey into his mind.

According to Offset, “‘SET IT OFF’ is more than a phrase, it’s a vibe we’re creating together. This tour is not just a series of concerts, it’s a journey into my mind. I’m ready to hit the road on my first solo headlining tour, bringing the heat and most importantly, giving the fans a new way to experience my music.”

Adding to the excitement, Offset collaborated with Queen Latifah for a promo clip, giving fans a taste of what’s to come on the “SET IT OFF TOUR.”

Presale tickets will go on sale Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at 10 a.m. local time and will be available until general sale begins on Jan. 26 at 10 a.m. local time.

Offset released Set It Off in October 2023, marking his first solo release since 2019’s Father of Four.

The album featured collaborations with artistes like Travis Scott, Cardi B, Don Toliver, Mango Foo, Future, Latto, and Chlöe.

Tribute to the King of Pop

In the cover art, he paid tribute to the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson. Meanwhile,

In his music video for “Fan,” Offset is captured walking alongside a woman.
Both of them rocked outfits that echo those worn by Jackson and actress Ola Ray in the famous “Thriller” music video.
