Also Richard Serra attended Yale University and bagged his B.F.A. in 1962 and M.F.A. in 1964.

Upon graduation from Yale, Richard Serra met his first wife Nancy Graves in 1965 and they divorced in 1970.

Richard then met Clara Weyergraf in New York City in 1970 via mutual friends in the art world. 

Their shared passion for art and similar interests brought them together and they kept the bond until death snatched Richard from his significant other.
