Although they are currently not yet engaged.

In her words, ” maybe. I think so. I liked being married, I liked marriage. And I feel like it’s great to be able to build with someone, plan the future with someone. And so marriage, to me, is kind of important.”

Marcus deserves an opportunity

Pippen is getting older and will have already gone through, or will be about to go through, her menopause.

Hence, she made the decision to freeze her eggs in case Marcus want children later.
