Former Atlanta Falcons player, Kroy Biermann, has filed for divorce from his wife, Kim Zolciak, who is eight years older than him. Kim Zolciak children that Biermann fathered, are of interest in this latest divorce filing as their father demands their legal and physical custody.
The couple have been married for 11 years. The marriage is one with many challenges that the couple themselves acknowledged.
In May this year, they both filed for divorce but called it off after just two months. They later reconciled and lived as a husband and wife until recently when they started having issues again.
According to sources, Biermann and Zolciak had been fighting in recent weeks. In these fights, Biermann, according to the sources, repeatedly threatened his wife with divorce. Zolciak however, dared him to go ahead, and on Thursday, August 24, Biermann executed the threat.
Kroy Biermann and Kim Zolciak children
Biermann and Zolciak share four children; Kroy Jagger Jr., Kash Kade, and twins Kaia Rose and Kane Ren. Kroy Jr. was born in May 2011, even before the couple legally married in November 2011. Kash Kade was born in 2012, and the twins born in 2013.
Meanwhile, Zolciak has two children from her previous relationships. They are Brielle Karenna who was born in 1997, and Ariana Lenee. Lenee’s father is Daniel Toce, and she was born in 2001.
In the latest divorce filing, Biermann is asking the court to grant him both legal and physical custody of his four children.
Whether the court will grant him that wish, remains the sole decision of the jury that will sit on the case.
