Popular Indian actor and CID cast, Dinesh Phadnis, has died. The actor who played Fredericks in the popular long-running TV show, CID, died on Tuesday, December 5. According to Dayanand Shetty, who is also a cast of the TV series, multiple organ failure accounts for the cause of death of Dinesh Phadnis.

“Dinesh breathed his last at 12.08 am,” Shetty confirmed to IndianExpress.com.

He was born on November 2, 1966, in Bihar, India. He however died in Mumbai, also in India.

However, when confirming the actor’s death to the media, Dayanand Shetty revealed that the cause of death of Dinesh Phadnis is multiple organ failure. The actor died at Tunga Hospital in Mumbai where he was receiving treatment.

“There were a lot of complications and he was removed from the ventilator last night,” Shetty indicated.
