American professional wrestler, Jack Cartwheel, has been in the news since Sunday, August 27, for an awkward incident during a match. The wrestler, in an attempt to body-slam his opponent, landed on his neck. But did Jack Cartwheel break his neck after the incident? The answer is simply NO! He did not sustain any neck injuries.
Cartwheel was battling Colby Corino in the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA)’s 75 event which was held last Sunday at Chase’s Khorassan Ballroom in St Louis, Missouri. The event started on Saturday and ended the next day.
Cartwheel and Corino’s match was going on well until Cartwheel decided to body-slam his opponent. He then climbed the rope, and lo and behold, he fell, landing heavily on his neck. The fall ignited goose bumps, as some viewers thought Cartwheel had sustained a serious injury.
Cartwheel appeared stunned, as he tried to get up from the ground.
The incident did not prevent Corino from launching more attacks on his opponent. Rather, he continued to hit Cartwheel in the same area.
Fortunately, Cartwheel sustained no injuries to the neck, even after the place was continuously pummelled.
He made his wrestling debut in 2019. Currently, he wrestles as a freelancer, and his wrestling style is high flyer. Supreme Pro Wrestling (Sir Samurai) is Cartwheel’s trainer.
Colby Corino, on the other side, is also a pro wrestler from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He made his wrestling debut in 2009, ten years before Cartwheel made his. However, he started wrestling professionally in 2014.
Between August 2022 and February 2023, Corino was associated with WWE, one of the world’s most popular wrestling promotions. The promotion however, did not sign him.
Currently, the 26 year-old wrestler works with NWA as a signed performer.
