Datta Gaekwad wife: Who is she?

Between 1952 and 1961, Dattajirao Gaekwad, popularly as Datta Gaekwad, was an Indian cricket player who participated in 11 Test matches for his country. He was 95 years old when he passed away on February 13, 2024, making him the oldest living Test cricket player in India. In addition, he was the father of Anshuman Gaekwad, another Test cricket player, and the first player to represent the royal Gaekwad dynasty of Baroda. Early Life

On October 27, 1928, in Vadodara, Gujarat, India, Dattajirao Gaekwad was born. His father, Krishnarao Gaekwad, was a member of the Baroda royal dynasty, and his full name was Dattajirao Krishnarao Gaekwad.

From his early years, he had a deep love for cricket and received his instruction from C. S. Nayudu, the brother of the renowned C. K. Nayudu.

He attended Maharani Chimnabai High School in Vadodara, where he was a standout student in both athletics and academics.

Later on, he captained the cricket team at Maharaja Sayaji University while playing for Bombay University.

Dattajirao Gaekwad married an unidentified woman whose identity remains unknown. Three daughters and one son made up their family of four.

Anshuman Gaekwad, their son, succeeded as an Indian and Baroda cricket player by following in his father’s shoes. He scored more than 2000 runs while playing for India in 40 Tests and 15 ODIs.
