Armand Rajabpour-Miyandoab parents: Who are they?

On Saturday, December 2, a terror attack was carried out in the vicinity of France’s Eiffel Tower in Paris. In the knife attack, a German-Filipino tourist, Collin, was stabbed to death. Two other tourists,  were also seriously injured. The perpetrator of this crime is Armand Rajabpour-Miyandoab, and in this article, we’ll talk about his parents.

But who is Armand Rajabpour-Miyandoab?

Armand Rajabpour-Miyandoab is known to local authorities as an Islamic extremist. He, in March 2018, was sentenced to five years in prison, including one suspended year. He was jailed for being in “association with terrorist criminals”  by the 16th chamber of the Paris correctional court. In 2022, he was released from prison.

From 2022 until March 2022, Miyandoab had been under psychiatric treatment as prison authorities. This was aimed at deradicalisation the French and Iranian national who was shouting “Allahu Akbar” – Arabic for ‘God is the greatest’ – while he was being arrested.

The 26-year-old Islamist extremist has both Iran and French citizenship, and has lived in France for several years.

He is currently in the custody of Paris police and being tried for murder and attempted murder. When convicted, Miyandoab could be given a jail term not less than 20 years.
